Configuring watermarks

When printing files from BlueCielo Meridian Explorer, you have the option to print a watermark on the hard copy. This can be useful to label the hard copy with “Draft”, “Not for Construction”, or other text according to your needs.

To configure a watermark:

  1. Select Options on the View menu. The BlueCielo Meridian Explorer Options dialog appears.
  2. In the Watermark group on the General tab, enable Print Watermarks.
  3. Click New. The New Watermark dialog appears.
  4. Enter a name for the watermark and click OK. The Watermark dialog appears.
  5. Click options and enter text using the descriptions in the following table.
Option Description

Label Text

Enable and enter the text to be printed over the body of the hard copy. Click Font to change the font, size, and color used.

Transparency

Enter the percentage of transparency to print the watermark text. A value of 0 prints the watermark text completely opaque. A value of 100 prints the watermark text completely transparent.

Alignment

Select one each of the Horizontal and Vertical alignment options to place the watermark text on the page.

Angle

Enter an angle to print the watermark text.

Title Text

Enable this option and enter the text to use as a title for hard copies output using this watermark. Click Font to change the font, size, and color used.

Alignment

Select alignment options to place the title text on the page.

Frame

Enable this option to print a frame around the edges of the page.

Width

Select a width for the printed frame.

  1. Click Test to preview the watermark.
